I'm a fame whore and all up for attention grabbing but I just can't imagine maintaining a blog for it.
I was reading celebrities wannabe blogs just now and I can't imagine the amount of time and effort they must have wasted on it. All the photo uploading, all the pretentious and act chim blog posts.
I just can't do it, perhaps that's why I'm updating my livejournal alot lesser. =p

I feel stuck.
Recording a cover for few days, to realise I don't really want to sing it.
Bah. I need inspiration, I need to know what I really want to sing, what I really feel.
I need a new sound

I went out without my Ipod today, it was faulty
At first, I grumbled about it in my mind as I'm so used to plug those earpieces in my ear and just block the world out and listen to blasting music
Then, I thought again, it might be refreshing to listen to the surrounding sounds for once.

And it was.
The construction that was taking place near my place
The engine sounds of cars
The chattering and footsteps of passerbys
And many other sounds that I often neglected

Then I reflected and gave thanks, for these sounds and the ability to hear

I had the time of my life, very pleasantly surprised
I started the day by going to church. My cellgroup members were really sweet, they got me a spongy chocolate cake and sang Happy Birthday song for me

Then I got the biggest surprise of my life.
My friend Cynthia asked me to help her select a guitar for her partner as a Valentine Day gift a few days back
We went to Davis guitar shop, with my cellgroup membes and her to select the guitar
I was rather stressed as the shop was rather packed with people and Raymond was asking me to try out as many guitars as possible.
After that, Cynthia asked me to carry for her (Which at that point I was still clueless), we went for coffee
Then as we were apart to part, she took out a card in the guitar bag and gave it to me (Which at that point I was still very very clueless, I thought the card was just kept there because of convenience)
So I took it then she told me to take the guitar too. I was utterly speechless and surprised.I was tricked into selecting my own birthday present, it was a really well planned idea. I nearly cried :P
It's the best present I've ever received. It was also much needed as my other guitar's bridge actually have a terrible crack and have a horrible sound now

I organised a birthday gathering at DYMK to get together and hang out. I was actually quite worried if anyone will turn up since I sent out the invitation on Friday night (And I'm guilty of asking some of my friends on the day itself too, yes bad planning on my part! lol)
To my surprise, 38 of my friends made it to the party (Mostly from my church, workplace and gym). I really appreciated their presence and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I just wished I was a better hostess =p

Then I went to Zirca for the Superstar Sunday event. I was alittle drunk but it was fun haha (Honestly, I can't remember much of what happened there XO)

Honestly, I'm very sure that one day my past is going to come back to haunt me and bite me in the ass (pun intended.)

I won't say I'm proud of my experiences, but I'm certainly not ashame of them.

Those crazy things that I've done before widen my perspectives, taught me valuable lessons in life and help me to know what I want and what I do not want.

I'm never play the role of a pure and pristine sunday school boy and I don't think I'm gonna start, that's just not me ;)
